I build reliable backend, database, and cloud systems.

I'm studying Software Engineering at McGill, drawn to the parts of software where reliability, data integrity, and clear system boundaries really matter. The map so far runs through AWS Redshift observability in Berlin, Kubernetes production defects at UKG, cloud-backed internal tools at Pomerleau, and full-stack insurance platform work at Intact.

  • Most of my work happens at the backend layer. At AWS I wrote SQL diagnostics to detect Redshift planner health signals; at UKG I tracked down production defects and data-integrity issues in Java on Kubernetes.
  • My resume numbers come from real deliverables. 25% faster API response at Pomerleau, 4 critical defects resolved at UKG, and a scheduling platform used by 2,500 organizations.
  • Five internships before graduating in December 2026. AWS in Berlin, plus UKG, Intact Insurance, and Pomerleau in Montréal. I'm looking for a backend, data, or database role next.

The transatlantic leg

At AWS, I worked on Redshift observability.

I defined 12 planner health signals and built SQL diagnostics serving 10,000+ production clusters worldwide, catching performance regressions before they reach customers and replacing manual log analysis with signals an engineer can actually act on.

Intact InsuranceCurrent I'm building insurance platform features used by 35,000+ agents and brokers.

Full-stack Java and Angular on Personal Lines Requests, fixing production defects across interdependent services via root-cause analysis.

UKG I debugged production scheduling and data-integrity issues.

Java on Kubernetes: resolved critical defects including data-integrity failures in the scheduling engine, validated with automated tests and API checks.

2,500+ orgs · 4 defects resolved
Pomerleau I improved internal cloud tools across two terms.

C#, Azure, SQL, EF Core, and CI/CD, improving API response speed and data-fetching performance and shipping an admin platform for 200+ active projects.

Chapter 03 · The Prague semester

What I build exploring on my own

In fall 2024 I moved to Prague alone for an exchange semester at Charles University. The trips I take alone teach me a lot, and so do the things I build alone.

I'm looking for a team where backend depth, data systems, and product sense all matter.

I'm graduating from McGill in December 2026, after five internships and an exchange semester at Charles University in Prague, and available from January 2027. I'm after backend, data, or database engineering work wherever the interesting problem is. The fastest way to reach me is email.
